Emmy Awards Nominations 2026

Framestore has received Emmy nominations for our visual effects work on Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age and Foundation Season 3.

Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age

Framestore has been nominated for Outstanding Special Visual Effects for Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age. This landmark project drew upon all of our global teams to transport audiences back in time.

To make the long-extinct feel utterly real, VFX Supervisor Russell Dodgson led our teams across London, Montréal, and Mumbai, pushing our pipeline further than ever before. From the first sketches in our Art Department and Visual Development to the meticulous planning by our Pre-production (FPS) team, creating over 40 anatomically accurate creatures—complete with complex fur-and-snow simulations—was a mammoth task.

This Emmy nomination continues a notable award season for Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age. It follows our global team earning Best FX at the Annie Awards, alongside double honors at the VES Awards for Outstanding Visual Effects and Outstanding Effects Simulation.

Massive congratulations to our nominees: Russell Dodgson, Benjamin Loch, Francois Dumoulin, Romain Rico, Gavin McKenzie, Alvise Avati, Adrien Annesley, Liam Russell

Foundation Season 3

Additionally, VFX Supervisor Carlos Monzon and our global teams have been nominated for an Emmy Award for our visual effects work on Foundation Season 3.

Following our work together on Season 2, we collaborated once again with Production VFX Supervisor Chris Maclean to help realize the lavish visual style of Foundation. From the massive scale of Clarion Station to the complex physics of the Novacula sequences, our artists delivered over 500 shots to bring this ambitious and complex universe to life.
