Our Studios

Framestore’s state-of-the-art London studio brings together artists, producers and technologists working across film, episodic, advertising and immersive entertainment. 

Spanning seven floors and with views offering a bird’s eye view of the capital, the building provides a range of creative and collaborative spaces: perfect for peer-to-peer learning, external training sessions, in-house social clubs and visits from award-winning filmmakers and creatives. 

We like to think that Framestore’s unique creative community has helped change the area’s genetic makeup: once the preserve of the legal and finance professionals, we are seeing more and more creative companies setting up shop in and around this historic part of the capital.

Occupying two floors in the heart of the vibrant Mile End district, our Montreal studio sits  perfectly within a neighbourhood known for its creativity and distinct, individual style. Whether you want to spend your evening at a boutique bar or fending off the elements with the more traditional comforts of poutine, our Av. de Gaspé location means everything is on your doorstep - including the city’s bustling creative life. 

The building itself boasts a new, dedicated training space, as well as room for our artists, technologists and producers to explore everything from new groom and environment techniques through to comic book art. 

The artists and producers comprising our Vancouver studio became part of the Framestore network in 2021, but had been making a name for themselves long before then as part of BC’s renowned VFX industry. 

As part of the Mount Pleasant neighbourhood the studio benefits from the city’s thriving artistic and cultural scene and proximity to a wide array of galleries and studios, as well as nearby Main Street’s mix of shops, eateries and cultural spaces. 

An established player in Chicago’s creative community since 2017, our West Loop studio places us elbow to elbow with key agencies, brands and production companies. 

Being part of the vibrant Greek Town neighbourhood means there’s no shortage of atmosphere to soak up and enjoy, while the Art Institute of Chicago and Chicago Symphony Orchestra are also within easy striking distance. 

Opening in 2013, our renowned LA studio has grown to house a multi-award-winning  360 production team of artists, directors, designers and creative technologists. 

Located close to the entertainment industry’s beating heart, our Culver City team works with everyone from pop megastars and global brands to household name film clients.

As a hub for filmmakers, artists and creative professionals the area boasts the best of everything, from sports facilities and green spaces through to galleries, restaurants and cutting-edge cultural spaces.  

Framestore’s first overseas outpost, our Manhattan studio opened its doors in 2004 and has gone from strength to strength ever since. 

Catering to advertising and high-end TV clients by day, the studio offers easy access to all the things that make the ‘city that never sleeps’ so renowned: cinema, music, theatre, high fashion, the arts and culinary options that range from the impossibly upscale to beloved neighbourhood eateries. 

Framestore’s newest site spans some 90,000 square feet: a well-connected, purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility fittingly nestled between the city’s renowned tech and film industries. 

Since opening its doors the site has grown in size and stature, and is now home to disciplines such as modelling, tracking, FX, lighting, compositing and animation. Soon to be a fully-integrated, full-service studio in its own right, our Mumbai location has been designed for growth and to provide the support and facilities required to help our Indian artists stay at the top of their game, offering dedicated training space as well as areas to eat, socialise and relax. 

A respected cornerstone of the Australian VFX industry long before becoming part of Framestore, our Melbourne studio has an enviable track record. Their physical HQ is flanked by green space, and within easy reach of sites like the Arts Centre Melbourne, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Royal Botanic Gardens. 

The team’s champions include the likes of George Miller, Baz Luhrmann and Seth MacFarlane, all of whom recognise the Melbourne team’s peerless creative approach and position at the heart of Australia’s film and animation industry.
