Glenn Melenhorst
Glenn’s 38 years of VFX experience have seen him work on unforgettable film and television moments, including the iconic and Emmy-winning ‘Battle Of The Bastards’ sequence for HBO’s Game Of Thrones.
His extensive career in 2D and 3D animation spans projects as varied as Ted 1 and 2, SpongeBob, Minions, Jumanji, John Wick, Tomb Raider, Ghostbusters, and the Oscar-nominated Christopher Robin.
Glenn ran his own animation company for seven years before joining Iloura (now Framestore) and transforming the studio’s five-strong animation department into a thriving team of 300+ artists.
Glenn’s most recent supervisory roles include the live-action adaptation of How to Train Your Dragon and the 2,400 shots necessary for the hugely-successful series adaptation of Ted - work which saw creator Seth MacFarlane praise the VFX animation as “some of the best character acting work I’ve ever seen.” His current focus is the large-scale production of Disney’s Moana - the upcoming live-action musical adventure of the beloved animated feature.
