Framestore wins BAFTA
Framestore is proudly celebrating a win in Special Visual Effects at the 2018 British Academy Film Awards, for its work on Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049.

VES 2018 award win
Framestore is pleased to announce that our work on the ‘Groot Dance/Opening Fight’, opening sequence to Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, has received global recognition in winning the Visual Effects Society (VES) Award for Outstanding Virtual Cinematography in a Photoreal Project.

2018 Oscar nominations
Framestore is the proud recipient of two Oscar nominations for 2018. Both Blade Runner 2049 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 go head-to-head in Visual Effects, under VFX Supervisors Richard Hoover and Jonathan Fawkner.
