After receiving a BA in Fine Art and Psychology and a Masters in Computer Animation, Nathan has worked around the world in a variety of roles from general artist, to compositor, to animation supervisor, giving a unique 360 view of the VFX industry.

Nathan’s varied career has seen him work on over 20 feature length films, including the Oscar-winning The Golden Compass, Alice in Wonderland, and the BAFTA-nominated Children of Men. A confident animator and natural leader, Nathan has a thorough understanding of the technical processes involved across the visual effects industry and has invaluable experience in both acting and physical performances - from realistic to cartoon and with a variety of characters and creatures.

Since taking on the role of Animation Supervisor in 2011, he has worked on the critically-acclaimed Kingsman: The Golden Circle and Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok. Nathan’s work on the Academy Award-nominated Doctor Strange, bringing to life Strange’s Cloak, received great acclaim.

Nathan’s latest projects include Spider-Man: Far From Home, the action-packed Wonder Woman 1984, directed by Patti Jenkins, and pre-production on the third Fantastic Beasts film. This follows his work on Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, where he led an animation team in testing and breathing life to new creatures for the film. He also recently worked on the third and final Guardians of the Galaxy film.
