David Simpson

David has been with Framestore for over a decade, working across a variety of film and episodic productions, including the Academy Award-winning Gravity.

David has ventured through the Wizarding World of J.K. Rowling for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and visited Asgard for Thor: Ragnarok where his work on the iconic ‘bridge battle’ scene earned him a VES Award nomination.

David has leant his skills to a range of fantastic creatures, from Paddington to Alien: Covenant and the first BAFTA-winning season of BBC/HBO’s Philip Pullman adaptation, His Dark Materials.

David served as client-side supervisor for Alex Garland’s Men for A24 Films and is currently supervising the director’s next project.
