With VFX Supervisors Rob Harrington and Nicolas Chevallier leading global teams, Framestore delivered a masterclass in invisible VFX: crafting hyper-accurate CG replicas of Formula 1 cars, precisely manipulating real-world racing footage, and blending diverse visual sources into a seamless whole. Early previs, crafted by the FPS team led by Francisco Pacheco Beltran, helped shape the film’s most complex and dangerous stunt sequences, laying the groundwork for a project where VFX became a toolkit for Kosinski to shape race sequences.
