Christopher McDonald

After graduating with a first class degree in Animation, Chris began his career in film at The Mill, where he honed his skills working on advertising projects. He has a decade of experience at various post production facilities including DNEG and The Third Floor. 

Chris’s first feature film project was Kingsman: The Secret Service, staying with the project from previs, throughout the shoot, through to post production. This unique experience provided a comprehensive overview of the way previs fits into a production from start to end, and the ways in which it can benefit a production at each stage.

Chris has leant his talents to the climactic final series of Game of Thrones and Netflix fantasy series Shadow and Bone. He also journeyed into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, acting as a Lead Visualisation Artist for Black Widow. Chris joined Framestore in 2020 as a Previs Artist, where he ventured back into the MCU as Senior Visualisation Artist on the much-anticipated sequel to Doctor Strange.
