
Kevin Young
Kevin Young is an award-winning Creative Director and Creative Technologist, passionate about shaping the future of real-time, experiential, and interactive media. With a strong focus on UX and spatial experience Kevin seeks to blend craft with cutting-edge technology to create work that engages audiences in new and meaningful ways. Now based in London, Kevin is part of Framestore, where he leads creative technology initiatives that explore new possibilities for real-time content, interactivity, and spatial UX, from immersive installations to next-generation mixed reality experiences.
His career spans two decades at the intersection of creativity and technology. He began in the London music industry, designing online experiences for artists and comedy acts such as Oasis and The Mighty Boosh. He then transitioned into film and television marketing, developing game and experience-based campaigns for Disney, Fox, Lionsgate, E1, and HBO.
At The Mill’s London studio, Kevin became their first Head of Creative Technology, leading an award-winning team across a wide range of high-profile projects. He later joined Wētā FX’s Special Projects team in Wellington, New Zealand, pioneering new ways to bring stories to life through emerging technologies. His previous work includes experiences for The Guardian, Samsung, Ford and Hyundai, and his work has been on show at Sundance, TriBeCa, The White House, The Future of Storytelling and CES.
His ongoing mission is to create things that feel genuinely new by crafting innovative, UX-led experiences that blend narrative, interaction, and technology.
