Emmy award-winning animator Dani Tomlinson talks through her career journey from studying Fashion Illustration at London College of Fashion, to working at Framestore as a full time 2D Animator.
Meet the Speaker
Dani Tomlinson | 2D Animator
Dani Tomlinson is a 2D animator, designer and illustrator who studied BA (Hons) Fashion Illustration at London College of Fashion before completing an MA in Animation at London College of Communication.
Since joining Framestore in 2021, Dani has worked on projects including Ms. Marvel (earning an Emmy as part of the Design team), Doctor Who: Lux, The Marvels, Wonka and McDonald’s.
Beyond Framestore, she has drawn live at many fashion shows, drawn live portraits at Tate Britain’s Queer and Now Festival, presented work at Tate Modern and Aesthetica Short Film Festival, and delivered talks and workshops at Apple’s Regent Street flagship store and London College of Fashion.
