VES Awards 2022
Framestore is proud to have won four Awards at this year’s prestigious Visual Effects Society (VES) awards.
Framestore’s ten nominations spanned film, advertising and theme park rides, highlighting the rich breadth of the Oscar, Emmy and Cannes Lions-winning studio’s work and varied client base. This achievement was bolstered yet further by a nomination for Method Studios, whose film and episodic teams in Vancouver, Melbourne and Montreal are now part of Framestore.

British Arrows Shortlist 2022
We’re delighted that a plethora of Framestore projects have been shortlisted for the British Arrows in both its Arrows and Craft awards including #LongLiveThePrince, #wombstories, SHEBA: Hope Reef, and our grade for Hennessey, by Simon Bourne.

Super Bowl LVI 2022
Super Bowl LVI was another one for the books – not only thanks to the epic, star-studded lineup of musical guests, but for this year’s installment of the industry’s most-anticipated commercials.
In partnership with our agency friends and acclaimed directors, Framestore teams explored a Paralymian’s impaired vision, used digital VFX to conveyed an analog aesthetic, animated puppets to find their place in the Metaverse, and composited a household of smart appliances in a pinch.

Academy Awards 2022
Framestore is proud to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects for its work on No Time To Die.
Creative Director, Film, Jonathan Fawkner receives his third Oscar nomination for his work on the latest instalment of the James Bond franchise, which saw him oversee almost 400 shots spanning everything from thrilling action to seamless ‘invisible FX’. Jonathan shares the ticket with Charlie Noble, Joel Green and Chris Corbould.
