Maike holds a Bachelor of Engineering, specialising in International Game Architecture & Design from Breda University in the Netherlands. She began her career at Nvizage, where she started to specialise in visualisation.  She quickly collected a number of high-profile titles on her credits list, including Spider-Man: Far From Home and the Fantastic Beasts films. Her work on the final season of Game of Thrones involved extensive Previs and Techvis work, and was honored with an official certificate from the Television Academy and personal honorable mention.

Maike joined Framestore in the summer of 2020, jumping straight into previsualisation on Netflix’s Jingle Jangle. The film’s iconic storybook sequence would go on to win numerous industry awards.

From there, Maike has continued her adventures in both the Wizarding World and Marvel Cinematic Universe, lending her skills to the mind-bending sequences in box office smash Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the much-streamed Disney+ series Moon Knight, and Netflix’s latest period drama, 1899.

Maike has recently delivered post-visualisation for Warner Bros’ Wonka, having completed work on the much-anticipated live action rendition of Disney’s The Little Mermaid
