Akhauri P. Sinha
Akhauri joined Framestore in 2020 to lead its state-of-the-art Mumbai studio — a purpose-built, tech-forward facility located at the intersection of the city’s thriving film and technology hubs. With over two decades of experience spanning film, TV, and visual effects, he brings deep insight into both India’s VFX landscape and the broader media and entertainment industry.
Over the last five years, under his leadership, the Mumbai studio has grown into a well-connected creative powerhouse — expanding in both size and stature to become home to disciplines including modelling, tracking, FX, lighting, compositing, and animation. His strategic direction and eye for innovation have helped shape the studio’s role within Framestore’s global network, delivering work that seamlessly blends artistry with technology.
Akhauri has overseen VFX for more than 50 feature films, with credits spanning Jumanji: The Next Level, Ford v Ferrari, John Wick: Chapter 3, and Birds of Prey. His cinematic journey touches some of Hollywood’s most iconic universes — from the James Bond thriller Skyfall and the wizarding world of Harry Potter to Fast & Furious and X-Men.
Most recently, he has overseen Mumbai’s contribution to high-profile projects including The Gorge, Mickey 17, The Little Mermaid, Superman, and How to Train Your Dragon — reinforcing the Mumbai studio's growing reputation as a centre of creative and technical excellence.
