Framestore worked with Facebook on a VR experience about the power of human connection. 'TOGETHER' fuses dance and technology, putting the viewer in the middle of an emotional narrative about breaking down barriers and bringing people closer.

Working with 'Movement Art Is' co-founders Jon Boogz and Lil Buck, director Terrence Malick crafted an immersive, emotional experience that is brought to life through dance. The VR experience challenged Malick and Prieto to rethink the traditional narrative structure and deliver a piece that used VR to tell a timeless story about human connection.

In the words of Jon Boogz and Lil Buck, "Dance isn't just entertainment, it's a tool to empower, educate and break down barriers. 'TOGETHER' is inspired by our original piece, 'No Borders', and was created to help start conversations and bring people closer. Being filmed in 360 made us more self-aware of our spacing to the camera and each other. It was like working in a completely different world."
