Myriam S Castillo | FX Technical Director

Myriam S Castillo is FX Technical Director at Framestore, where she enables the creation of complex and visually compelling effects for a host of high-profile projects.

Beginning her career at the Spanish studio El Ranchito, Myriam worked on productions such as Game of Thrones and The Mandalorian. Since joining Framestore, her credits as FX Technical Director include: The Fantastic 4: First Steps, Deadpool & Wolverine, and Loki. Most recently, Myriam helped create photorealistic effects for DC Studios’ Supergirl.

Myriam is also a mentor at ACCESS:VFX, an industry movement pursuing inclusion, diversity, awareness and opportunity within the VFX, animation and games industries. As well as a judge at The Rookie Awards and founder of VFX Coven, a Spanish-speaking community to connect, support, and empower women in the VFX industry.
