Director of Together, Michael Shanks, spoke to LA Weekly about the practical and VFX behind the “spellbinding” twisting limbs and merging body parts. Shanks shared his background in VFX and how he is a longtime fan of Framestore. Shanks also spoke to IndieWire about audiences’ assumptions that the spine-tingling visuals were created using AI.
