Kamen Markov
Kamen has been a major player in the VFX world for many years collecting accolades for work including Cravendale’s ‘Cats with Thumbs’, John Lewis & Partners ‘The Boy and the Piano’ which won more than 15 VFX awards globally including VES, Cannes Lion, British Arrows, ADC and the Immortal Awards, and LEGO’s ‘Rebuild The World’ campaign, nominated for Outstanding VFX at VES.
Kamen started his career as a Motion Graphic Designer for TV before going on to work as Editor and VFX Artist for TopForm Studio, in his hometown of Bulgaria. Kamen then relocated to Mexico City where he began working at The FilterFX and quickly built a good reputation collaborating with some of the top advertising directors. He later joined MPC’s London studio as a VFX Supervisor and Lead Compositor on countless award-winning projects with renowned directors.
Kamen has taken on a substantial role within the studio at Framestore, executing soon to be announced high-profile projects. His style of work is defined by a constant drive for early collaboration and building long-lasting relationships with agencies and directors.
