This classic ad for Monster was so good it's back again with a few little title tweaks to its 2009 incarnation. The essence of the spot is that of revelation - one long, slow camera move around a scene that initially shows a ludicrously well-to-do and contented boss, before revealing (literally) the other side to his wealth - the oppressed and uncomfortable employee who's doing the donkey (or should that be moose?) work.
A visual joke this strong does not call for a lot of digital enhancement and Framestore Creative Director Mike McGee, who attended the shoot and was VFX Supervisor for the spot, found that all that were required were touches such as the addition of 'exterior' elements at the beginning of the spot, general clean-up work and camera stabilization.
