B&Q approached Framestore to create a short animated sequence to explain what their new social networking site Streetclub is all about. The site is a virtual 'knock on the door' that aims to bring busy neighbours closer together.
It encourages communities to overcome their hectic lifestyles, allowing them to work and play together – creating better homes and building better lives.
All the characters and environments were designed by Ian Spendloff of Framestore Design, who also directed and, alongside David Lochhead and James Witcomb, animated the film entirely in After Effects.
In addition to the visuals, Framestore handled the music, sound design and final mix.
