Framestore's fourth spot in the Hanes campaign with The Martin Agency and MJZ director Rocky Morton has been selected as AdAge's Ad of the Day. The advert uses a visual comparison to show just how soft Hane's ComfortBlend T-shirts are - even softer than a shirt made of kittens.
It was Framestore's job to make the kitten-shirt look as realistic as possible - as if the white balls of fluff had happily decided to curl up on the guy’s chest - despite how surreal the idea is. "Sight gags never go out of style, particularly when they involve kittens" say AdAge.
