Nathan Barley - a six episode series - made its debut on Channel 4 recently. Co-written by Chris Morris and Charlie Brooker (Screen Burn), directed by Morris, and produced by Talkback Productions, the show is already being feted for creating an iconic anti hero in Barley and for slicing the vacuous world of cool culture to pieces in a cascade of background jokes.
