Framestore just completed another epic spot for Jameson. Hawk, directed by Noam Murro for TBWA Chiat Day. The spot shows our hero John Jameson once again tempting fate to save his precious whiskey. "Right from the start we were excited about the concept on Hawk. It was a great project to be involved in, and having worked on the first Jameson's spot with Noam a couple of years ago, I knew he would deliver a beautiful film, with some epic, but challenging shots to tackle," said Alex Thomas, lead flame op.
"The idea of creating an 1,000 year old, 30 foot mythical hawk was immediately exciting. To accomplish such a feat, we had to depart from our typical pipeline and get inventive with our CG process. The end result was one of the most realistic and terrifying, creatures we have ever produced," said James Dick, 3D Supervisor on the project.
