Damaris 'Packing Heat'

Framestore has just finished Packing Heat, a genre-breaking short film that showcases cutting edge lingerie from Damaris. Directed by Johnny Green (who Framestore previously collaborated with on FIFA, Carlsberg and Special Olympics) and starring super model Liberty Ross, the film debuted at Somerset House to mark the start of London Fashion Week.

The film was graded by Framestore colourist, Steff Perry, who originally took the film’s aesthetics down a contrast-heavy route for a cooler and classier look. He then DCPed the final edit to make the lingerie ‘pop’ more obviously, bringing out its strong colours and textures.

Jonathan Hairman and Pedro Sabrosa added sheen and beauty work whilst painting out rigs and backdrops, enhancing explosions and creating the end titles. Painstaking roto work was required to cut blacks from their black backgrounds. “Johnny Green is a director that always gets the best out of me,” summed up Jonathan. “It was great to work with him again.”
